Thank you to the DSSA for your continued support of UAD Windsor-Essex! What an amazing group of U of W students to organize this 4th annual Walk-a-Thon to celebrate March 21 which is World Down Syndrome Day! This year the walk took place on March 25th, 2018 at the River front. Thank DSSA for all you do!

Virtual Dance Classes

UAC Dance

Up About Down will be offering Virtual Dance Classes again, run by Taya for the Teen and Adult groups.

They will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5pm – 6pm, starting (February 3rd).

If your son/daughter is interested in participating, just send a response by email to your Teen or Adult Leader so that they can add you to the list for when the zoom link is sent out. Participants in the past have really enjoyed these classes and Taya is a great instructor! Newcomers are always welcome!

New Fitness Class Starts Sunday, February 21, 2021

Up About Down is happy to be offering an online fitness class. Physical activity is great for both your physical and mental health. These classes will be taught by a mother from our organization, Kourtney Laforest-Belisle.

The first class will be offered on Sunday February 21st at 2pm.

Group leaders will email group members with a link beforehand, then you can click on the link on Sunday and take part in the fitness class in the comfort of your home. The following week there will be no class, however, starting in March, we will offer a class Sunday’s at 2pm on a weekly basis.

Hopefully you will be able to join us. Stay tuned, as link will be mailed out in the near future.
